We are using Zoom to live stream our classes, and it works on laptops, iPads, desktops, and smartphones. You can also connect it to you tv, that takes some work!

1: To make it easier, before your first virtual class, go to zoom.us to create a free account. Please use the same email address we have for you at Yoga Salinas.

2: Download and install the Zoom mobile app for your Apple or Android device, or the Zoom desktop client for your laptop.

3: You can join a meeting early  to make sure your audio and video is working so you can be ready to join your first class.

Now that you have your access to Zoom you are ready to register for the class. You only have to register for Zoom one time!

4: ON OUR WEBSITE pre-register for the class you want to attend in our VIRTUAL studio schedule. Please do this at least 30 minutes before class starts. When we see you have registered in the Mindbody studio system, We will send you an email containing a link for you to "Join the Meeting".

5: We suggest joining 10-15 minutes before class to get settled in. When you register, please use the email address we have on file for you at the studio. By registering for any class, you agree to our release of liability and waiver, please be mindful in your movement! 

6:  After you register, the directions and link to the meeting will appear. Click to join the classroom.

You will have the choice to join with or without video. This is totally your choice - but note that the teacher can't see you if you turn off your video stream. We will see your name on the class roster.

7: Enjoy class! It's a privilege to be invited into your home and to have you practice with us. 

Zoom works best when using the Chrome web browser if you are using your laptop and not the desktop app, which you can download here. 


A few suggestion:

Make your practice space quiet, and if you can allow some space. You can take your practice outside if you have a quiet corner , that is shaded so you can see the video, use your wireless headphones.

Use essential oils or incense even background music we will not hear it if you are muted, if you like or not.

Bolsters: Have extra blankets around you they can be rolled up for many uses. An extra mat can also be used as a bolster and of course pillows.

Blocks: If you have any hard cover books that would work. If you need to give your significant other a project or even yourself, wood will work. Specs are. 8” x 5 1/2” x 3”

Straps: Belts, rope, curtain ties, lol minimum 6’ long, 8’ is better.

Folding Chair nearby for some classes, there will be better descriptions on the website soon. You can always order some props online.
